Zaid's dedication to family law is evident from his diverse legal background, which combines practical experience with a strong understanding of judicial procedures. His official journey to practice law in Canada began in 2023 with his certification by the Federation of Law Societies' National Committee on Accreditation. However, his passion for law was ignited much earlier.

Zaid's legal foundation was built during his time as a legal assistant at Peak Family Law in 2022. Here, he gained invaluable firsthand experience, witnessing the intricacies of family law cases firsthand. This experience fueled his passion for family law.

Before Peak Family Law, Zaid served as a Judicial Clerk at King's Bench Family. This role placed him at the center of the courtroom, granting him a deep understanding of the judicial process within the Court of King’s Bench Family. Observing judges navigate complex family legal issues provided Zaid with invaluable experience as he aspired to become a family lawyer.

Armed with practical experience and courtroom knowledge, Zaid has embarked on the next chapter of his legal journey by joining Peak Family Law as an articling student. 

 

Zaid is a student-at-law - meaning that he is currently articling under the supervision of an experienced lawyer. Zaid expects to be called to the bar in March, 2025.
